As this is a Championship race it will be 5 laps totaling 85km

Elite, M123, M456, M7+, Women, 5 Laps – 85km
Women, J17 will race 4 Laps – 68km.
J15 will race 2 laps – 34km.

Club Championship and Club Hill Climb Championship Race Format.
Eligibility to race club championship:

Riders must have raced in at least 3 club races in the previous 12 months. If a member has not met this criterion they may appeal to the race committee for an exemption. An exemption would normally only be considered in the case of a rider returning from injury or a rider whose overseas racing commitments may have precluded them for doing three club races.

Open Road Championship.

1. The championship race is a mass start event.
2. Everyone is effectively in the same race and anyone, regardless of gender or age group, is able to win the open championship.
3. Riders are allowed to draft off anyone regardless of their category. Example: If an Elite rider and a Masters 4+ rider get away together they can work together to stay away.
4. Riders cannot have a lap out and re-enter the race under any circumstances.
5. Riders cannot accept assistance from other riders or outside influences like cars or tractors.
6. Club championships are individual events and collusion or team riding is not permitted.
7. Entry for championship races is $5 and no prize money or vouchers will be awarded.
8. Only current financial Warragul race club members are eligible to be club champion.
9. Any licensed member can race from any other club but is not eligible to win a trophy.

Open Road Championship race should be at least 60km but not more than 100km in length.

2018 Road Championship will be raced over 5 laps of the Shady Creek Circuit. Distance is Approximately 85km. Race will start and finish at Shady Creek.

Championships and Trophies will be awarded for the following categories.

Open Red Numbers
1st Second and Third finisher regardless of age group. J19 and Elite Riders are automatically in the “open” section.

Masters 123 Blue Numbers
1st 2nd and 3rd in the combined M123 group.

Masters 456 Orange Numbers
1st 2nd and 3rd in the Masters 4,5,6

Maters 7+ Black Numbers.
1st 2nd and 3rd in the Masters 7+

Womens Green Numbers
1st 2nd and third female

J17 Will race number of laps up to 50 km.

J15 Will race number of laps up to 35 km.

If a masters rider wins or is placed in the open section they will receive both the open and Masters Trophy.

Eg. A rider finishes second overall and is the 1st Masters 123 rider over the line they would be awarded the Open 2nd place Trophy and the Masters 123 1st Place Trophy.
